  possibly a modern classic????

  everything about this is pretty much the best it possibly could be for an action film

  the soundtrack is great as usual from trent reznor and atticus ross

  i dont wanna say too much about it cuz it really works best going in blind

  we dont get movies like this very often anymore and i hope after this we start to get more

  Shrek 2001

  "wwhy shrek is piss. why shrek is piss #italiano"

  Shrek is a really solid and fun animated film. It kind of just works, idrk what else to say.

  The word "ass" is used three times during the film yet it still recieved a G rating. I do understand that it is used in the context of a donkey pun but at a certain point I feel you're kind of pushing it.

  i dont know that i will ever see another film like this again or that one quite like it exists.

  the whole film looks beautiful and the music throughout was amazing.

  i feel like this film occupies a similar space to that of Björk (who is briefely mentioned at the begining of the film (hell yeah)) and Wong Kar Wai. at first glance, seemily strange and sometimes feeling alien, but under the surface having such a deep and rich understanding…

  if conner o'malley every ends up making a feature film it could very easily be one of the best of the current era. within the 25 minutes of runtime that this film has it does and says so much about modern internet/hollywood culture and how especially now with social media how it sucks people in and ruins their life. i think the ending of this film is genuinly quite emotional while also being extremely funny. if youre not following conner o'malley already, get on it.
