Good and so close to being great. The main philosophical issue at play in the film is quite compelling and the characters are mostly interesting and well casted. Biggest flaw is the entirely unnecessary and unfinished love triangle subplot.
This is my absolute least favorite movie. It's dumb, cliche, and makes me want to gouge my eyes out. I was forced to watch this 3 times a year every Christmas throughout my childhood and by the 3rd time I saw it I knew it would be the bane of my existence.
