I found it really touching! The animation style is so unique and really evocative of the darkly comic mood of the film. It occasionally veered too much into kind of like listing off all the bad things that happened to the characters, but actually for the most part it balances the comedy and tragedy pretty well making the comedy hit well and enhancing the connection you get to Gracie. I think it had a lot of interesting things to say about dealing with hardships in life and told that in a really compelling way so I'd defo highly recommend.

Mildly entertaining and Maria Bakalova really steals the show here but it doesn't particularly go anywhere and keeps treading the same ground and ultimately doesn't say very much – feels like it definitely could've done more with the concept.

Big Aki Kaurismäki vibes with the addition of amazing Icelandic landscapes and all comes together in what's a somewhat unique and interesting take on the road movie, albeit sometimes feeling like it's retreading the same ground.
