The trailer gave away everything so I knew what to expect but still found it entertaining.

My main take away though is that the kid, ant, is more of a man than the father ben. Honestly ant is the MVP he got shit done and warned them, and in the end he was the only one with the sense to... not just leave the crazy murderer alive... like maybe take him to the cops while hes all high on ketamine but I wouldn't just leave him

I got more to say but I'll probably make a video on it.

For some reason I was under the impression that this might be good and I was unfortunately wrong.

This feels like a case where keeping the monster hidden was less an intentional artistic choice, but actually just because they know the monster is lame and not scary. The part where he perhaps mistakenly kills his parents who might be innocent was almost interesting, but then the movie barley addresses if he was tricked or if there's more to the story…

While I'm not entirely sure if I agree, I see why this movie got a few negative reviews, I think it could have done it's premise a little bit better, but I thought it was really good for what it was, and the themes about filmmaking and media make this film something truly special. And to me it made up for any doubts I had about this movie, showing the beauty of following your vision and creating something special, which I wasn't expecting from such a comedic film.

Overall I thought this movie was dope as shit
