  There's some good ideas here but the pacing is glacial and everything just felt off and weird. Most of the time I had no idea what was going on. But my daughter loved it and it made total sense to her so???

  I know I'm in the minority here thinking this is the best of the three. The first two were perfectly focused, but this one has so much more room to breathe - for better or worse depending on how you see it. Personally, I had a blast watching the various plot threads converge around Maxine with Hollywood as a backdrop. I liked that I related to Maxine here more than in X (or with Pearl for that matter). And that's saying a lot because I adore those films and those performances.
