fight club is a 3½★ film at best. the acting? average. i don't even remember crying once as a matter of fact. make a scene move me in the same way that remy the rat betraying alfredo linguini in ratatouille (2007) moved me and we can talk. the writing? pitiful. the lines were way too long and they kept disappearing after a few seconds. i rarely had a chance to read them all. huge oversight by this "jim uhls" guy. and don't even get me started on the cinematography. some of the lights were just far too bright. absolutely unwatchable.
