I think the appeal for Parasite was how well Bong Joon Ho managed to deep dive inside a very specific issue - dissecting so many aspects and getting into details really makes you think
Unfortunately, Mickey 17 was an attempt to dissect, 17 different issues, which just isn't possible inside 2 hours, and watching so much varied surface level exploration becomes dull and a bit silly, and those lighthearted jokes that are supposed to lighten the serious note, become a bit too silly when your brain isn't forced to think deeply about anything
