First time revisiting this since late high school (liked it even more, might raise score after some thought) and it’s groundbreaking obviously but the funniest thing for me is the fact that my one thought this time was about how good the effects for the Baby are and so I wanted to do some research to see how they achieved it and I learned that literally no one knows. It a complete mystery. No one knows how it is controlled,…

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie

There are a couple reasons I wanted to support this film:

    1. I love Looney Tunes. I grew up on them and still have a love for it. My buddy I saw this with also does, and we actually stayed up until 5AM watching Looney Tunes once in high school. Good times.

Has got to be the closest I’ve gotten to giving a ghibli film 5 stars and the most touched I’ve been by one since Grave Of The Fireflies. Might happen on rewatch. Beautiful in every way. The best animation from them I’ve seen yet and also the most grounded and mature story in my opinion. It’s such a human movie. It’s also the most like a non-animated film I’ve seen from them, I could very well picture a live action…

There are many cons of college but I think the pro of being able to be an independent man who can decide to kick back, crack open a drink, and watch Goodfellas for the thousandth time in my life until 3:00AM on a random Wednesday just because it’s what I feel like doing trumps any misery or financial problems that may come from it.

It’s hard to think of new things to say of a movie I have been watching…

Charlie Kaufman is so creative it makes me want to kill myself.

Being presented in real life to do an adaptation of a novel, accepting, getting writers block and not knowing where to go, and thus pivoting the screenplay to be about a fictional version of yourself (not a self insert character- like an actual named fictional version of you who you also portray as highly insecure and pathetic) struggling to write the adaptation of the novel you accepted to…
