The End 2024
Miraculously I didn’t hate this. It’s so outlandish and ridiculous that you can’t help to admire it a little bit, even if it’s objectively shit. A strange ride I don’t want to take again.
Fittingly this was the last film of the Manchester Film Festival 2025, its end. It’s been a brilliant year watching some cracking films and speaking to great people. I’m grateful for all the friends who joined me at the screenings this week, it’s been an absolute blast.

Last Swim 2024
This was so evocative of my life. Sitting in sunny London with the friends I love, listening to those exact tracks on the soundtrack, not realising that these are the best days of our lives until they are already memories. To experience anything is unique and beautiful; to think that we are invincible or will last forever tarnishes that beauty.
Overwhelmingly brilliant. Got to experience this at the Manchester Film festival 2025 with a Q&A with the two stars.
