Not all movies are made for everyone to handle. I don’t think this film was meant for me, but i am so grateful to have seen it.
Graphic unfiltered scenes of domestic, sexual violence and vulgar unrestrained male aggression are all visuals i’d usually find shallow, distasteful and unnecessary, however i felt every one of these moments was undoubtedly vital, and for the most part handled with the appropriate care and authenticity required.
Possibly the most powerful, and at some points beautiful film i’ve ever watched, but i don’t think i could bring myself to recommend it to someone.
