  This is a special movie and top tier Miyazaki. So many different interpretations you can get out of it whether you believe its about grief, loss, moving on, succession, legacy or Miyazaki's relationship with his mentor Takahata. The animation is possibly the greatest you will ever see, the movie is just breathtakingly beautiful in every scene. The sound design is impeccable, Joe Hisaishi's score is Oscar worthy and at the top of his game. Every time I rewatch this movie…
