This was great. Just absolutely stunning film. I went in not really knowing anything about the plot. I just heard the title and some of the award buzz. I was expecting this to be a snooze fest considering it’s run time but man was I wrong. Every scene was just the perfect length conveying emotion all the way through to really make you feel as if you are experiencing everything with the characters. The pain and love of life is perfectly depicted in this absolute masterpiece of a movie.
Not the most fun nor interesting movie. It’s a trope that is kind of getting repetitive. The once looked up to professional is now at the end of their career trying to figure out if it was worth loosing everything now that it’s gone. A very real thing especially as time passes. A solid opening with amazing pacing good scared and an interesting setup. And it all gets thrown out the window for the most generic run of the mill story with the most barebones messages about trauma. There is t really even a wolf man. He never goes full wolf. The movie is predictable and just dreadful to watch. Every moment was just bleh
