  Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical 2024

  this is for 14 year old me who became obsessed with bonnie and clyde (the historical figures) after watching a grainy 480p bootleg of this musical on youtube. the show is better than i remember (cause i remembered the script being odd at points but also i was 14 so who am i to judge). who tf is ted though. anyway hearing jeremy jordan sing still makes me smile like. ugh. he’s so good.  

  it’s also funny that they revived this in london. seeing a bunch of brits (presumably) sing made in america was funny to me.

  this was a very okay addition to this ,,, genre of movies. i liked the second half a lot more than the first half. the first half felt like it wasn’t quite sure what it wanted to be yet. didn’t blow me away, but also wasn’t god awful.

  okay now i’m also going to review the chicken quesadillas i got at this dine in amc because i spent too much money on them to not say anything about them. they…

  :/ did absolutely nothing interesting. i enjoyed this just fine because of my love for folk music but it was simply a very okay movie. i’ve been saying this about so many movies i’ve seen recently but man, i wish this was better.
