  I think this is ralph bakshis best And most coherent movie that I’ve seen so far. I totally understand why someone might not love this movie. Rotoscoping can only do so much as far as emotional expression. The pacing was kind of weird. Not all of the main characters are as fleshed out or interesting as the other main characters. But for me, the charm and style of this movie more than makes up for all of its down falls.…

  Made me cry. Good mumble core movie.  everybody loves Raymond and Mark duplass are both really great in this. Really sad and for the most part very believable.

  This movie is insane. It's poorly acted. None of the chracters are likeable. It made me feel icky. Everything was incredibly over the top. And it does all of this in a really creative and incredibly unique and compelling way. I love this movie so much. The aesthetic that it pulls off and the emotions that it invokes are so unique to this movie. I've never seen anything like it and I couldn't imagine any other director ever being able to replicate this style. It feels like an alien made it. Good stuff

  Lars and the Real Girl 2007

  Really cute and nice movie. Made me really emotional. The concept made me think it was gonna be really corny and uncomfortable, but the writing and Ryan goslings performance manage to make the concept of a man falling in love with a sex doll incredibly charming.  And I think that’s awesome.
