I really liked this movie. It is about how war and ideological conditioning devoid people of any sense of empathy but also the pride they create ultimately lead to death and misery.

Wild Strawberries 1957
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I have rewatched this movie after many years and I think that I have only know truly understood it. Isak is a man who is incapable of forming geniune connections and has lived all his life in cold intellectual pursuit, becoming hated by everyone. And yet, in reality, he is a kind man. That is why when he is faced with death he understands his errors and with the help of young people finally opens up, even saving his son from his same destiny (in which Isak was forced in by his cold mother).
