That wide shot of Mann and Coop fighting on the cold planet is perfect. It puts their situation into perspective and puts you into Mann’s mind. One thing I noticed this watch is Mann thinking about what he is about to do after he wakes up. It is great acting because it is subtle but also shows a clear conscious decision.
I like how scenes at the end show Coop’s appreciation. His altruism wasn’t for nothing. He felt relief that there was opportunity for innovation and that his daughter understood him. Its a nice way to wrap up the movie.
