Keke Palmer & SZA together are hilarious; their on-screen chemistry drives the whole movie. Many of the side characters are also very funny.
This made me miss comedy movies—it doesn’t feel like hollywood makes as many fun comedies like this anymore

Man, I’m not sure what to make of this movie. I really liked it but I don’t love it. Everything about how it was made was fantastic; every detail was almost perfect, from the acting, cinematography, music, etc. But…I left not really feeling much. Of course I’m still processing it, but I guess I was expecting to enjoy it as much as my favorite films from 2024.
I’m certain that a second watch would benefit my comprehension of this dense masterpiece, but a rewatch may have to wait due to the lengthy runtime.
“Does evil come from within us, or beyond?”
Woah. This was intense. I’m not typically a horror watcher/fan, but this was genuinely a very well-made one that I will probably return to (eventually).
Absolute visual masterclass. The gothic theme and use of color + greyscale were chilling. Also, I think I knew Billy Skars played Count Orlok but watching it I wondered, “who tf is this guy?”
Probably the horniest vampire movie I’ve ever seen, which is saying a lot
