  Unbelievable effects and a really amazing score. Love the moments where The Thing was doing The Thing stuff, and the shit with the dog in the beginning is so crazy good how the hell did they get the dog to actually do all that???

  Great direction and has a lot of stylistic appeal. The story itself wasn’t my favorite and felt too cliche at times, but it’s a very fun time and Toni Collette and Naomi Ackie are everything to me.

  The way this story is told is incredibly fascinating, and though it made some parts of the narrative difficult to follow, I admire the choices that were made so much. The simplicity is masterfully done, and there is so much artistic value all over this. This usually is not a type of filmmaking I would engage with, but I love being able to find appreciation for new kinds of films.
