The Wizard of Oz 1939
First I have to address the horrible working conditions for the actors and especially the trauma and abuse that Judy Garland suffered while making this movie. With that out of the way I think that it was a good movie especially for the time and can definitely appreciate why it is so celebrated historically.

Wonka 2023
It’s honestly insane people can watch Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and rate it higher than this movie… nostalgia kills movie rankings because Timothee’s performance is so good ESPECIALLY after I just watched Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory for the first time. This movie had all the whimsy that Roald Dahl would have wrote into Willy Wonka as a character.
