  Essentially a sequel (prequel?) to snowpiercer, similar themes characters tropes and whatnot but it was good. Not a fan of the narration, felt a lot like record scratch yup that’s me. At least his Mickey voice was entertaining, and the jokes land for the most part.
  Why can’t anyone come up with alien creatures that aren’t just stranger things shits you know? Them being a major part of the story takes me out of it. Anyway, it was still pretty good, doing a clone movie is difficult and there’s a few real creative shots to avoid having to do too much vfx

  Dexter: New Blood 2021

  Brings it back in such a good way. Stylistically it still has the heart of old dexter while still being completely its own thing. 

  Wish they hadn’t forgotten kinda important plot details that pretty much debunks anything that’s happening but whatever.

  It’s shot so much more cinematically compared to the os. Really does the location justice with the whole winter forest aesthetic.

  Spree 2020

  gamer’s paradise a.k.a. Spree - Never thought I’d see a film that is so 2019

   nah but seriously it’s really fucking good. The way it’s put together is so interesting. I’ve never seen anything like it before. Editing is great, different pov style is pretty neat and gets you real close to the characters. Pacing can be a little weird and messes up the suspense buildup sometimes but it ends up paying off. Not a huge fan of the ending with Jessie but I really like how it tied together Kurts story.
   Also they use the word incel.
