I can’t believe it took me so long to watch this movie, when it wants to be historically accurate it nails it and when it wants to take itself a little less seriously it’s so confidently well done I’m still immersed in the story. Also hearing that the cast just saw it as fun with friends is so heartwarming and you can see their chemistry from a mile away. Also Heath Ledger and Paul Bettany ILY

Seven Pounds 2008
Overhated by critics, good performances by the whole cast. I liked the story and I feel like the characters were very raw and portrayed their situations well. Also loved how emotional it made me, hurt right in the chest. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the time jumps, I couldn’t really tell when each event was happening and some of it felt a bit fast as a result.

I really don’t understand how this movie bombed so badly, sure there were moments that I didn’t like or don’t feel made sense but this was a really enjoyable film. It kept true to its identity of kids with superpowers acting like kids with superpowers, I don’t know what people were expecting. It didn’t take itself too seriously but why would it? Definitely my favourite DCEU character so far.
