  Bridge to Terabithia 2007

  Five stars because not many people seem to realize how brilliant this movie is. It’s a fantasy film but it taps on heavier topics than one can imagine; religion, abuse, depression, and death. It’s beautifully done, it crushed 8 year old me and made me cry for days on.  Rip josh Hutcherson, he’s not dead but was an amazing child actor and I haven’t seen him since.

  A waste of good soundtrack. Messy, didn’t follow its storyline, unbearable to watch, and cringe to the next level. I’ve never seen a movie have so many gaps and awkward introductions before. This makes The room look like an Oscar worthy film.  20 minutes into the movie and it’s already a roller coaster of bullshit!   Meryl Streep. That’s it.

  I watched this movie in a hotel in California while on vacation. I was 8 years old and fell in love with it. There’s something so mesmerizing about old Hollywood and Meryl Streep. That’s all I really have to say. Also Meryl Streep falling down a staircase repeatedly throughout the film.
