A film exploring questions of youth in romance, youth in sex, youth in revolution, youth in politics. Tho obviously through the classic romantically frustrated Godard lens that is as nerdy as it can be charming.

Rosina is the wisecrack tomboy we all want to be – a v unglamorous and dry femeninity that I’m here for and want to hear more of.

This set design/art direction is everything!! 

Generally feel when B&W is used in a modern setting, it’s to appeal to an aesthetic of the past without much narrative intention behind it (or at worst can come off as “trying too hard”).

This - however!! - was so intentional and playful and seductive  and great example of a Hitchcock homage. Narrative purpose. Me encantó!!
