Solid slasher film 3.5/5. Has me excited to learn more about Pearl and Max in the prequel and sequel.
This movie is entirely romanticized on all media platforms. A lot of that love is deserved. A truly beautiful film which is showcased in the first 1/3 of the film. The directors bring emphasis on water and vibrant colors. The culture is rich and nods to other cultures such as Greek and Roman. The main characters being versed in multiple languages so seamlessly makes me want to pay attention in Spanish class (though I’ll learn nothing of importance).

Vibrant colored film for an apocalypse without water. The amount of fast cut clips gave me a headache but I can see the appeal of directors using those as a tool to make everything seem fast paced.
I love a good fast and furious in the deserted apocalyptic wasteland. Next up: Furiosa (extremely close named to fast and furious)
