The Party 1980
I watched this cheesy movie more than once when I was like 13 (same age as the protagonist) and I remember that it unleashed my romantic spirit (even though i knew it was extremely cheesy but still) and I used to fantasize about having a lovelife like hers. It felt so unrealistic and impossible that all of that could actually happen to me one day.

I loved it. I loved it because it's not just a well directed, written and portrayed movie but it also shows an original, diverse and interesting approach to aliens and everything that revolves around the concept of alien. Instead of depicting them as evil creatures that only want to conquer or destroy the Earth, it questions and analyzes them on a way deeper level. Who are they and why are they here? What do they want?
