This is an interesting horror/thriller about undocumented immigrants. I read the American reviews and I noticed they all absolutely trashed this movie. Well I thought it was pretty good. I don't care if the social commentary the movie was making was blatantly obvious. I would have given it another star if we hadn't been cheated out of seeing Lynn Collins' character finally get bumped off. Her character was so despicable I was yelling at the TV for Alejandro and Memo to set her on fire. I (sometimes?) get WAY too invested in films I watch...

I disagree: I think it did a good job at portraying the horror of rape and showing how women are victim blamed.
