  I really enjoyed this, and it definitely makes In the Mood for Love more interesting to me. The story of Chow almost is a tragic epic. It’s sad, moody, and captures the punishment we deal to ourselves (and our lovers) when we travel to 2046. 

  I think where Kar-wai misses when it comes to his writing he makes up for it visually. 

  Unfortunately, some details were lost in translation for me and had to read the plot summary in Wikipedia to cross some Ts but that just means I need to rewatch it.

  It was fine! In the best way possible. I like the idea more than the execution but Hunter gave a good performance and tbh I really like Dan Stevens in this. Kinda silly, kinda fun. I think the first half of the movie is very good. Wish the trailer hadn’t spoiled the bike scene.

  Call me a madman. Call me stupid. Call me delusional. 
  This movie doesn’t deserve to be rated on how good it is. It gave me an experience that was new and absurd and funny and epic. I don’t give a fuck. I’ll buy it on dvd. It was a beautiful mess.
