The Devil Wears Prada 2006
rewatched this recently, as i so often do (setting myself the precedent of only reviewing stuff i’ve watched fresh) and yes, it’s still brilliant!!! potentially controversially so, this movie is the most pop culturally influential movie of modern history, moreso than mean girls even!! in my opinion, maybe i’m led to this conclusion because i’m, one of those queers, you could say, but yes this movie is brilliant down to every scene and has fed modern pop culture with so many points of reference, and has infected my daily vocabulary with quotes. love it!
