Fiddler on the Roof 1971
Surprisingly poignant. The musical numbers kinda blew me away. I would honestly consider watching more musicals if the genre was more like this and less like The Greatest Showman.
John Williams does a great job adapting the score. Topol is fantastic at singing and his dancing is very fun. It’s a 3 hour long film, but once you get past the first hour or so, it doesn’t feel arduous at all.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003
Return of the King has been praised to the moon and back for years. The plot, dialogue, action, acting, score, and cinematography have all been lauded with eloquence beyond my own. This review will not focus on the brilliancies of this film-- many as they are.
