    Slaughter Hotel

    ★★★

Slaughter Hotel is a sleazy giallo that has a black gloved killer stalking a bunch of pretty ladies (who all seem to suffer from sex addiction) in some sort of mental asylum.

Asylum... not a hotel. The English title Slaughter Hotel really doesn't make any sense whatsoever. The alternative titel Asylum Erotica makes more sense.

This giallo was made a year before Fernando Di Leo went on his poliziotteschi streak that he is most known for. As such, I wasn't…

    Scandal

    ★★★½

In 1963, just when the swinging sixties were about to begin, the Profumo affair caused quite a stir in Britain. Scandal focuses mainly on Christine Keeler (played wonderfully by the absolutely stunning looking Joanne Whalley) and her relationship with Stephen Ward (John Hurt in one of his best roles).

The lip sync doesn't match in the slightest for some actors. Halfway through the movie they figured that out themselves and just started shooting entire scenes filming actors backs while talking.

For some reason the kid is able to…

    The Sisterhood

    ★★★★

During the first few minutes the movie had me worried when the two ladies from the sisterhood show up on horses, draw cheap looking swords and start battling some guys. That's not what I'm looking for in a post-apocalyptic film! Then, out of nowhere, one of the girls starts to shoot laser beams out of her eyes. Sadly not at one of the guys, but at some stupid rocks... Still good enough for me though! Then quickly we get to…
