Overall, good package of a movie, that works well because of just how good Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are in it, and some great action sequences, but kinda falls flat for me otherwise.

Great opening... but then it kinda sucks.

Feels like it lost everything that made 28 Days Later stand out. 28 Days Later has these key, longer periods of atmosphere-building and letting you spend some time with the characters, using really large, unnaturally empty spaces to create a unique, intriguing vibe. On the other hand, this was just a lot of human incompetence, a really dumb inciting incident, and a whole lot of really over-gratuitous zombie mayhem and gore, with characters you could not care less about.
