The movie was hilarious and the gore was creatively intense.
I think the writing and dialogue between the robbers was pretty awful, but everything else was pretty fun.
It’s definitely not a thought-inspiring movie, so I’m not going to judge it as if it was. It was a very thoughtlessly fun experience, and it achieved what I think it set out to do well.
It’s almost like John Wick if the protagonist was just a normal dude. Did he deserve a better girlfriend? Absolutely. Was the premise kinda stupid? Absolutely. Do I care? Nah.
First act of the movie was pretty bland. The second act picked up and was insanely captivating until it felt off again, and the third act was kind of the same as the second.
The good parts of this movie were pretty great, but it just felt unpolished to me overall. There were a lot of things that seemed like they could have been cut without changing anything.
