Letters from Iwo Jima 2006
ok serious review:
this is one of the best, if not the best, war films i’ve ever seen. I usually don’t interact with those due to the overall feeling of pew pew guns die, but this one really struck me. It fleshed out every single character and when each and every single one died, a part of me cried. Also the fact that this was made in 2006??? Super ahead of its time. This movie deserved all the Oscar’s and it’s a crime that it only won editing that year. Kazunari Ninomiya you are an Academy Award winning actor in my head.Translated from by -
