Its a fun date time at the movies similar to Heart Eyes. I just would never watch it again as it's mostly a one gimmick deal (he feels no pain now repeat that) that's elevated by a VERY charismatic Jack Quaid. Some creative choices with the concept are just hampered by uninspired direction and a repetitive screenplay that refuses to go above its premise. One thinks how this film would have looked under an 87North Production

Nosferatu 2024
Liked it better this time tho I do think the second half has issues and that's mainly pacing and scenes that are repetitive exposition. It's quite annoying as an audience member to already figure things out before characters and when a few of them are still in denial throughout most of the runtime, it makes numerous scenes of other characters explaining the reality of the situation repetitive and the back and forth between these scenes and scenes of tension kind of rob the movie of the great pace and atmosphere it had in its first half.
Still quite a banger thoTranslated from by

Watchmen: Chapter I 2024
A little rushed in areas but perfectly serviceable 1st half adaption of a graphic novel thought to be unfilmable. I actually don't mind the animation and the voice acting here is also pretty good. Just seems like they are rushing through some plot beats with characters but it's not enough to really derail the adaptation.

TIFF MOVIE 6 WORLD PREMIER
Not nearly as smart as it thinks it is on its commentary on religion. Very surface level with conclusions that anyone who has a remote intrest in religion would come too after discussing it for 10 minitues.
The thing is, this movie is like 80 percent dialogue but the conversations don't have the depth to sustain the run time. Is it tense at moments? Yes. Is Hugh Grant good in this? Hell yes he is,…
