I had to wait a bit to write this review because it took me some time to collect my thoughts.
Maybe this just wasn't for me? I know a few people who seemed to enjoy it but something about this short rubbed me the wrong way.

Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters 2017
Do we really need this much technobabble? I feel like the movie is constantly spitting so much nonsense sci fi buzzwords at me that when a bit of interesting actual speculative biology about Godzilla, whose design in this movie is well thought out and impressive from both an aesthetic and speculative biological sense, shows up I almost miss it. Also the main character is the most generic anime protagonist in existence.
