Hit Man 2023
This is a fall-asleep-and-wake-up kinda film.
There’s very little plot and even less character depth, relying instead on the slight amusement of hair and makeup to sell the story (he’s wearing glasses, he must be a nerd). The second half of the film picks up (the first half is essentially an hour long version of the trailer). But it wasn’t enough to make me care for the story, root for any of the characters, or enjoy watching.
If you’re looking for something to play in the background, put this on.
