The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
Was today years old when I realized bowser was a turtle and that the Super Mario Bros game is a game of parkour. Anyways, cute movie but not necessarily a kiddie movie. There were some moments that made me smirk/smile but nothing made me laugh out loud. The plot was kind of odd, what happened to the Brooklyn sewer system? Did Mario and Luigi just say fuck NY to go live in the other world? Idk the ending didn’t feel that satisfying.

Add it to the category with get out, the perfection and don’t worry darling! Similar yet distinctly different. Nice balance of comedy and intensity with plot; overall a very fun watching experience! There was some moments where I could just envision Zoe Kravitz writing it and knowing she ate. Lots of small details and well thought out shots that add to the story. The ending didn’t feel that satisfying to me but I didn’t hate it. Would recommend and would watch again!

Didn’t find 70% of the jokes and bits funny.
I thought to myself shit I should’ve watched Loki season 2.
Loved the 4th wall breaking, probably some of the funniest moments.
I enjoyed the cameos that I could recognize. I really enjoyed seeing x-23, blade and gambit. Channing Tatums Cajun accent was quite lovely to experience.
A lot of the movie felt like it was made for all of the Marvel dicksucking ball garglers, which made it a little hard to watch casually.

Black Widow 2021
I enjoyed watching this movie. I have always been a Black Widow fan. My major issue with this isn’t necessarily the story itself. It’s the fact that we get this posthumous prequel for her in efforts to introduce and set up Yelenas character. That is clear in the news, in the post credits scene, and even in the writing. Yelena steals the spotlight from Natasha completely. Could just be Florence Pugh being great i suppose.
