Went in with low expirations, but they should have been set lower. Everything about this felt like high schoolers got to borrow some camera equipment and film this. There were scenes that felt like Lorne Michaels was the producer. Ray Liotta coming back as the brother and the actor who was doing the Sil parody are the only reasons it’s getting two stars. The absurdity brought me laughter but everything else made me want to turn it off.

A big screen Gundam is as good as I could hope. Forgot about how much Char has a mommy thing. Amuro shows a lot of growth between 0079 and CC which feels awesome. We get a Bright slap, a pseudo-Bright slap, some Char/Amuro tussling, a brat that everyone’s horny for, and big tires being used to cushion mobile suit landings. Biggest let down was Astonage never got to make Kayra her favorite salad. War really is Hell

I too would rather be a pig than a fascist. 

I wish I watched this as a kid, I will be recommending my nephew watches.
