Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust 2000
this is the peak of animation. it does, however, have some pacing issues that make the movie feel like a drag during certain scenes. wish we could've connected a bit more with "D", mostly because he's cute and I wanna hear his voice, but also because his character is somewhat... bland. I understand that part of his appeal is to be mysterious and always on the move, but if you want me to connect with him, you need to show me a bit of his personality.
