  Jim Carrey was such a perfect actor for the role of Truman. I thought it was really interesting how the cameras shifted from cameras of the TV set to cameras depicting the movie. This movie is very aware of itself, and it offers some commentary on the new age of television that inevitably was about to come in the early 2000s.
