A bus driver with a normal life in New Jersey fits in poetry writing during quiet moments before work, and on his lunch break. His adoring wife spends her time creating and exploring her hobbies. Interesting characters pop into their lives during ordinary daily routines. Doesn’t seem overly exciting or watchable.
Until you add in the divergent thinker that is Jim Jarmusch. His eye for the small details and realistic delights of the ordinary make for a beautiful viewing experience.…
Believed very little of this movie’s characters, motives and actions. Ultimately felt nothing but bewilderment for the effusively high praise.
The most compelling case to introduce negative stars to the Letterboxd rating system. I’m sure I won’t have anything new to say about how much this movie fails by every metric.
This is easily in my most hated films of all time list. Not to be a prisoner of the moment, but it may very well be the worst movie I’ve ever seen.
