Cinematography, the editing and camera techniques. My god. But but but… this film is what it is because of that god damn score. Bernard Hermann struck gold. A true trio of masterful work here from Scorcese, Shraeder, and Hermann

Point Break 1991
Effortlessly fucking cool. A near perfect film. That shot of Bodhi/Swayze in the final scene when Utah/Reeves finds him at the beach in Australia is fucking awesome. Honestly that whole entire final scene is executed so well on all facets. Speaking of Swayze and Reeves, I can’t forget about Gary busey. I mean all three of them were casted so well in all their respected roles, you literally can’t write it up better. Also… if I were to curate a list to watch while hungover on a Sunday, this may be the perfect movie for that. Very glad I gave this a much needed rewatch

Dune: Part Two 2024
Saw this last night in 70mm IMAX at the opening night showing, needless to say this was an all around experience. Quite literally the biggest screen I've ever watched a movie on, with a sold out theater, certainly amplified the experience. With that being said, maybe the best movie theater experience I've ever had. "See this on the biggest screen possible" is no joke, this is fucking next level blockbuster movie making. Visually perfect. Cinematography, sound editing, acting, everything. Absolutely…
