  I didn’t hate it. I am a sucker for a spooky southern story though. Being from the south, I always love watching people pretend. Not in a condescending manner mind you. I truly enjoy it for the humor. For a small cast, I never got bored. And I know boys just like Isaac and guys just like grand pappy. Hit kind of close to home, all in all give it a watch.

  Went in with low expectations because my 7 yo wanted to watch it. If a 7 yo can predict the jump scares….it’s too predictable. It wants to be a mix of Child’s Play and the Terminator but falls well short of both. The movie drags and has some over all story issues. Pacing is just off and unfortunately it’s PG13 so all kills are lackluster. Overall I give it 2.5 for the fact that even if he predicted the whole movie my kid still enjoyed it. Save your money and wait for it to stream.
