I really do think this film is near perfect. I saw it on a bit of a whim in one of its last showing in my city and I’m so glad I did manage to catch it in the cinema. I have already rewatched it and could happily do so again soon (which is not common for me).

Unfortunately all too real. Which is also where its strength is. Ken Loach deals brilliantly in stories where a happy ending would remove it from its authenticity which makes it so worth watching. If only these stories did not resonate with truth so well.
