Most interesting part was the conscious framing of Louis+Marie-Antoinette as a source of spectacle - at the start they're almost play-acting at still being aristocrats, with the giant ballroom setting making their furniture and interactions feel like actors on a stage, while ofc the scene where we watch Marie-Antoinette screaming and wailing through a glass door is the best example of this technique.
