Once Upon a Time in the West 1968
I rented this, so I figured I had to watch it one more time before my rental ends. Decided to put it on while doing some work from home.
I try not to exaggerate or allow recency bias to influence too much, but this might just be the best film ever. Leone didn’t want to make another western, but then proceeded to make the best one ever.
I have decided I prefer this over The Good, the Bad, and the…

Silence 2016
Probably the best film that confronts what faith actually looks like.
Andrew Garfield not being nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role in this is a true crime. Shame on you Academy.

Spirited Away 2001
The definition of imaginative.

I am disappointed in myself for contributing towards this. Netflix will continue to pump out garbage because…

Mickey 17 2025
A witty and entertaining picture that is hard not to enjoy.
I wish directors took more risks like this. Bong Joon Ho isn’t afraid to do something weird and different and fun, and I love him for it. He’s one of my favorites.
Bong is a master at addressing social and political issues while simultaneously including quality humor. This is such an excellent example.
Ruffalo commits to the easily hatable political leader and pulls it off well.
I love Robert…
