Ball of Fire 1941
A very cute romance movie, hitting all the staples I except from an early 40s movie. Sugarpuss was such a fun character and I loved her outfits and storyline. Have to say that I'm always a sucker for a grumpy man who gets turned around by a bubbly women. Need to recreate the standing on books and yum yuming someone tbh.

Poor Things 2023
Took me a moment to get into it, spent too much time on Mark & Not enough time on Toinette and the people from the boat. I love punishing abusers and sex positive but can have negatives aspects of the movie. Cgi was done well felt like a painting and real scenic work was a chef's kiss. Good acting over all and I'm single Ramy Youssef & Suzy Bemba.

The Brutalist 2024
The score really slaps. Feels for such a long movie that there are a lot of unfinished threads, some im okay with, others I wish they explored more into. Found the following of paths that were throughout the movie very interesting. The cinematography in general was very well done, with a tone of interesting shots. In general good, but wish the story and script gave a little more.
Also, side note really didn't like how they made Harrison a rapist ... like we already knew he was a bad man and ending the film the way they did... yeah not a fan.
