Overall I enjoyed the film. In my opinion it was better than the first one in the franchise. I really feel like this is just a modern day Star Wars though, just more in depth. Like the first film the pacing is so slow in the middle. At times I was just trying to get comfortable.
I have to say though, that third act was the bomb diggity. It has me roped in for the third one.

The idea of having a childhood sweetheart and then them being all of a sudden gone one day is truly saddening. Then imagine if you reconnect with that person 12 years later in utter bliss of remembering the joy that you two shared. Always remember the expression, wrong place wrong time.
Imagine if you could never have the person you thought was your one and only. Thats what this film is.

There’s so many things I would like to say about this film but so little time. Let me start off by saying that this movie made me feel like a kid again. I felt a smaller amount of that with the first one but there was something special about this one.

First watched this movie when it was still in theaters and it holds up really well.
Wonderful story, amazing cast and SCARY!!
Many horror movies are focused on killing people in gruesome and clever ways. There’s not a ton of hope that most of the main cast will survive. This horror movie gives you that hope. Will everyone survive? I guess you’ll have to see.
