maybe i'm missing the plot. no real stance was made imo. mostly boring. some great shots, it could've been better in color. too much van morrison.
main takeaway is that i would also like to have karaoke and dancing at my funeral.

there is a reason this movie is majorly important in so many ways, artistically/filmwise and politically. think we could use more movies that build to a climax then they end, usually they're in the middle then there's some resolution but i'm glad audiences are not pacified and fed some fucking "feel good" ending after this. there's no "aww then it was okay" becuase it is not fucking okay. sit with that shit. anyways, i'm not gonna give an actual political or sociological analysis because i can't do it better than actual fucking scholars/professionals have and the world does not need another white person analyzing that shit.
