The Karate Kid 1984
It's remarkable how gracefully this film has aged. It's the kind of movie where after you've seen it, you just want to rush out and show it to everyone you know. And maybe even take on something that you've been meaning to accomplish. The film is heartfelt, without being corny. Inspiring, without coming off as preachy. And fun, without sacrificing drama. It's as Mr. Miyagi teaches Daniel. What's important, is balance.
Also important to note; Elizabeth Shue is in this.
